Features:
-Colored Rings: The first two represent a significant two-digit number. The third band represents the multiplier. Inductance is calculated by multiplying the significant number by ten to the power of the third band value. The fourth band represents tolerance.
- Small inductors with high Q and low distributed capacity. Excellent for use where space, weight and size are a factor.
Xially lead inductors with 10% tolerance suitable for wide range applications including decoupling, filtering and RF blocking.
These fixed inductors are coated with epoxy resin that guarantees resistance to humidity for a long life. The fixed inductor uses multiple coils of a conductive material to store energy using a magnetic field.
-For low current and low power they are made in molded boxes that resemble resistors. These can be single core (phenolic) or ferrite core. An ohmmeter easily distinguishes them from similarly sized resistors by showing the low resistance of the inductor.
